Warhammer 40k: Darktide's Rolling Steel update sounds great
A few months back, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide was the multiplayer game of choice. It was the perfect mix of Left For Dead-style dumb fun, with a new grimdark coat of paint that was new to all of us.
I've dipped in a few times since Helldivers 2 took over the coveted Wednesday night coop gaming spot, but haven't found something that pulled me back in fully. A train level might just do the trick.
It sounds like the team at Fatshark is doing something different with Rolling Steel, a new mission type taking place on a massive cargo train. You'll drop onto the already rolling train and a ticking timer to beat. Complete a few new small objective types, enjoy some of the best video game music around, and get out in a quicker stint than a normal Darktide level.
You can read more about Rolling Steel, how the dev team approached the challenges of a linear train level, and more in Fatshark's devblog.
Just add in a conductor hat for my Veteran and I'll be there.
