My favorite vacation spot is a video game
I've always loved using Assassin's Creed as tourism simulators, but when I loaded up Wakamarina Valley, NZ, a five year old UE5 demo by the developer of Lushfoil Photography, I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
I, like you watching this, play games for a lot of reasons. Mainly, games are my preferred media source: I rarely watch the hottest tv series or catch the latest movie. Instead, I seek out games with grand stories to tell and novel worlds to explore.
Which is maybe why I was so shocked to be sitting in front of my PC the other day, digging through one of the itch bundles I backed, and five minutes later I was sobbing while walking through an unreal 5 environment demo.
